Generous parents can keep their tiny tots' feet warm and cosy for the remainder of this winter by investing in a fun pair of snug boots for them.

However, mums and dads with an eye for fashion can be safe in the knowledge that not only will their kids' feet be warm both at home and while out and about, they will also be keeping up with some of the world's most famous mums.

Late last year, Shunews' Nikki Beukes reported that there are an increasing number of celebrity kids stepping out with their parents in Ugg-style boots .

Among them are Madonna's son David, who was spotted wrapped up against the cold in a smart parka coat with fur-lined hood and a pair of brown snug boots .

Meanwhile, movie star Kate Hudson was recently snapped carrying her young son Ryder through an airport, while his feet were kept comfy and cosy in a grey version of the footwear.

"Not only are celeb baby boys looking cute to boot in their Uggs but celeb baby girls want in too! Adam Sandler's daughter Sadie ... was seen wearing girly Uggs whilst out with dad," Ms Beukes notes.

"So there we have it, if Uggs are good enough for the feet of celeb babies, where only the best will do… then surely our little'ens deserve some of Uggs' great benefits," she concludes.

In a recent posting on Fashion BlogShots, one writer claimed that the boots were perfect for offering support to children's feet as they spend their day playing and that a proper fit should be snug but not too tight as the material will loosen and stretch over time.

They added that mums and dads should keep an eye out for boots that feature reinforced toes and slip-proof soles to allow them to play safely.
